Welcome to Saxon Course 1 Math! Here you will find all your lessons, assignments, due dates, and supplemental materials. Please make sure you are taking notes with the videos and writing down any questions you might have.  Once you are finished with the videos if you are still unsure of what to do make sure you ask for help!

You must do the practice problems and get them passed off with Mrs. Groat before you begin your assignment!

You will need to click on the Lesson (orange) to access the video.  The purple shows the practice problems you need to pass off before beginning your assignment.  The green shows what your assignment is for the day and the red shows when it is due.

***virtual students, just a quick note to let you know that it is taking us quite a while to get through the first 3 lessons in class, due to time.  We will only have lesson 3 finished by Friday, so I expect you to also have the first 3 lessons done.  You do not have to have any done past that, but since I don't mind if you work ahead that is perfectly fine if you have more lessons completed.  I am aware that things come up and you might not be able to do a lesson on a specific day, so if you get ahead and stay ahead that will help you on those instances where you would "fall behind" on lessons to be right where you need to be.  If you do get behind I do need to know, but I'm completely fine if you work ahead and turn assignments in ahead of schedule. I will leave the due dates as the original due date and just adjust the weekly schedules as needed.  Please feel free to follow our weekly schedule, or check in with me throughout the week to see where we are at in our lessons. I will also do a quick highlighted section like this that lets you know where you should be starting the following week.
